Every gambling establishment is now provided with the required reserves for casino
Nursultan Nazarbayev, the president of Kazakhstan, signed the amendments to the legislation on gambling, as КазТАГ reports citing the press service of the head of state.
"The head of state signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan" “On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning gambling business”, aimed at improving the state regulation of gambling and strengthening accountability for violations in this sphere", - as it has been stated on the website of Akorda on Friday.
As reported, the document introduces amendments to the Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan in terms of securing the procedural mechanism for recognition of activities of illegal online casinos; the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan of January, 30, 2001 states the norms that foresee responsibility for violation of legislation on gambling; the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On taxes and other obligatory payments to the budget" - in terms of increasing the cash rate of bookmaker’s office and betting house, and electronic cash register of bookmaker’s office and betting house, - from 75 MIF to 150 MIF and from 75 MIF to 2 thousand MIF per month respectively.
Changes are also made to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On gambling business" in the part of casino and slot machine halls, where conceptual apparatus is specified; every gambling establishment is provided with the required reserves for casino and slot machine halls from 25 000 to 60 000 MIF.
In addition, the order of the storage of gaming equipment is determined; are established the requirements for the minimum number of gaming tables in one casino in the amount of not less than 30, as well as to the buildings, where casinos are located; in part of the activities of bookmakers’ offices and betting houses where conceptual apparatus is specified; is established a ban on betting, reception and accounting of rates, the payment of winnings outside gambling properties, as well as by individuals who are not organizers of gambling business.
Also, are established the requirements for compulsory presence of buildings, parts of buildings, structures, facilities on the property right; every gambling establishment is provided with the required reserves for bookmakers’ offices from 20 000 to 40 000 MIF, for the betting houses - from 5 000 to 10 000 MIF; regarding a ban for legal entity to act as the organizer of gambling business whose founder is a person who has unwithdrawn or outstanding conviction for a crime committed in the sphere of economic activity or for intentional crimes of medium gravity, grave and very grave crimes, is enumerated in the document.
In addition, the competence of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is complemented, on the approval of standard work rules of gambling establishments, and in the Law "On Advertising", changes are made in the part of the ban on advertising of online casinos.
